Guidelines and Terms for Town Screen’s 2023 Christmas Decorating Contest

Contest Date:

Entries must be submitted on our website between December 9th – 24th. Submissions will run on Town Screen as they are submitted through December 29th. The winner will be announced on Friday the 29th.

Eligibility:

The contest is open to residents, businesses, and organizations. 

You must be 18 years or older to claim prize.

Registration and Submission:

Participants can register on our website by submitting the associated Christmas form.

Contestants must submit clear and well-lit photos or videos of their displays. Multiple images can be submitted at once on the form. If you have trouble submitting the form online please email us, info@townscreen.com or call us at 636-338-1199. 

All entries must be submitted by the December 24th deadline.

Display Criteria:

Displays should be Christmas and creatively designed. Homemade, store-bought, and DIY decorations are all welcome. Audio will not be factored into judging.

Participants are welcome to include a brief description of their display.

Judging:

If we get enough entries judging will take place on Facebook, where photos and videos of the displays will be posted.

Votes and comments on Facebook will be considered but will not be the sole determining factor. The final decision will be made by Town Screen.

The judging criteria will include creativity, originality, attention to detail, and Christmas spirit.

Prize:

The winner will receive a two night stay in a standard lodge room at Echo Bluff State Park, including a $50 restaurant voucher. Prize may be claimed any Sun-Thurs excluding Memorial Day and Labor Day. Room availability may be subject to change until the reservation is booked and finalized with Echo Bluff.

Prizes are non-transferable and subject to any applicable terms and conditions.

Announcement of Winners:

The Winner will be announced on Town Screen and Facebook on Friday December 29th.

Winners will also be notified individually through the contact information provided during registration.

Disclaimer:

The organizer reserves the right to disqualify any entry that does not meet the contest’s rules and guidelines or is deemed inappropriate.

By participating in the contest, contestants grant the organizer permission to use their photos/videos for promotional purposes. Any live persons or “characters” seen in your display give consent to all contest usage and promotional purposes.

By submitting your Christmas decoration display for this contest, you agree to the following:

You understand and acknowledge that the prize, a 2-night stay at Echo Bluff Lodge and a $50 restaurant voucher, is offered as part of the contest and is not the responsibility of Town Screen or Echo Bluff itself.

You waive any claims, demands, or complaints against Town Screen and Echo Bluff in the event that you encounter any hardship or issues related to the prize or its use.

Town Screen and Echo Bluff are not responsible for any inconvenience, loss, or hardship that may occur during or after your stay at Echo Bluff.
